The sky’s slowly fading
The vast darkness crawls in
Clouds chase the sun away
Birth of the night sky mourning

The light never found your face
The world was fast revolving
Nor did you run over my mind;

But that smile, that bewildering smile
Almost the only light in the dark

Leaving me alone, lost in wonder
